Ha efectuado estancias doctorales en Francia, en la Universidad de Montpellier II, en Montpellier (2000) y en el Instituto Nacional de la Investigación en Agronomía (INRA) en Marsella (2001). Ha participado en diversos congresos nacionales e internacionales sobre Biotecnología Ambiental y Biorremediación de Suelos.</p> <p>Entre las distinciones que ha recibido se encuentran el Reconocimiento A Los Mejores Estudiantes De México en la carrera de Ingeniería Química de la Universidad Veracruzana (CONACyT, ANUIES y Diario de México, 1992); la Medalla al Mérito Universitario otorgada por las calificaciones obtenidas durante el doctorado (UAM, 2004) y; El Premio de Investigación otorgado a la publicación internacional destacada en el área Ciencias Básicas e Ingeniería (UAM, 2005). Es miembro del SNI desde 2005.</p> <p>Es autora de artículos científicos en revistas de arbitraje internacional como son Environmental Science and Technology, Environmental Technology, Journal of Hazardous Materials y Process Biochemistry.</p> <p><a name="tt173"></a>Áreas de interés/experiencia en investigación:</p> <p>Biotecnología Ambiental: Procesos de degradación de compuestos aromáticos volátiles en aire y de compuestos recalcitrantes en suelos tales como hidrocarburos y plaguicidas.</p> <p>Pretratamiento hidrotérmico de biomasa lignocelulósica para obtención de biocombustibles y otros productos de valor agregado</p> <p> </p>
